REMOTOMO MAC / LINUX PREVIEW — 0.5

Extract the ZIP and open Install Remotomo.command. Confirm installation for your
current user. Remotomo prepares its connection and displays a QR automatically.
Scan it in the Remotomo iPhone app. No activation file is needed.

Mac: requires macOS 13+. Allow Remotomo Host in System Settings → Privacy &
Security → Screen & System Audio Recording and Accessibility. The helper is ad-hoc signed for
testing, not production signed or notarized. If macOS blocks it, stop and report
the message. Do not disable Gatekeeper. No Mac login password is collected.

Linux: still a technical preview. Requires an authenticated VNC server listening
only on 127.0.0.1:5900, systemd user services, glibc, curl, tar/xz, a SHA-256
tool and xdg-open. Existing
VNC credentials may still be requested. Wayland is unverified. Do not use sudo.

Keep the computer awake and signed in. Remotomo runs in the background and
starts when you sign in; you can close the browser tab and launcher.
Reopen Start Remotomo.command to manage access. Pause access stops connections
and stays paused until you choose Resume, including after a restart.
Keep the QR private. Remove a phone to revoke access; pair another phone to
show a fresh code. Never share the private setup folder. Mac display and clicking passed an iPhone cellular test; Windows/Linux
and the remaining physical-device acceptance checks are still pending. AI setup is optional.

YOUR CONNECTION CONTROLS
Your first QR scan opens the desktop and saves this computer on your phone.
Open the saved computer in Remotomo to reconnect without scanning again.
Disconnect ends current screen sessions; your phones stay paired.
Pause blocks remote access until you choose Resume.
Pair another phone shows a fresh QR code without removing existing phones.
Closing the setup tab or window keeps Remotomo running in the background.
Keep the computer awake, signed in and online.
